Mario Mangiarano AKA THE MARIO,

Florence Based DJ started spinning the turntables in his early teenage year of 14, while contributing to air live on private radio. Growing up musically with Funk and Disco which influenced and helped him to blossom in his career, that later on led into the era of House Music. His perfection with mixing records together, THE MARIO in the 80's stood out and gained large popularity which gave him the nickname “Doctor DJ”.

With his complete crafts as a DJ, producer and MC, THE MARIO has released 200 recordings. Most of those productions were created along with his friend & partner producer Carlo Conti on Zeus Records label, with 100 productions that include famous covers, re-editing and 5 new bands.

“Living In The Sky” sold 500.000 copies and landed THE MARIO a gold record in 1985, as well as reaching #1 in more then 20 European countries Dance Charts.

Followed the great success, THE MARIO started to showcase all around Italy and abroad internationally. THE MARIO still own his title as Master of mixing technique, beating the records, mixing on the turntable for 131 hours consecutive. Such a performance won THE MARIO's name in the famous book “The Guiness World of Record ”.

Many people attended to this DJ's set competition that lasted for 5 days. The event took place at the world famous club Baia Imperiale in Gabicce Riccione-Italy.

THE MARIO 's many radio collaborations are spotted with: RADIO TIME, RADIO STUDIO, LADY RADIO, RDF, RADIO PLANET, and many Web Radios all around the World. 

Mario won more then 150 plaques as recognition for performing at many live shows, DJ sets and record productions.
